And hear we have Paul Saville’s portrait of Ashley’s second best-known Green councillor, Rob Telford.

What a shame that Paul Saville who could use his art to make valid political points has resorted to this kind of sneering personal caricature. I am no fan of the Greens but at least Rob Telford has been elected so how showing some respect? Maybe Paul Saville would like to stand for election and see how he gets on. Come to think of it Paul is quite boyish himself, so is there some subconscious self-loathing going on here?
The Bristolian really does seem to relish its ad hominem attacks, doesn’t it?

It’s almost as though someone hasn’t quite understood how this meat raffle works
Think it’s a pretty good likeness myself – certainly no worse than what I see in the mirror each morning!
